Ukraine is a place where foreign students come to study medical ,engineering and other many degree programmes because the feeses are low,living costs are lower and degrees are recognized.Mostly students are from Nigeria,Ghana,Tunis,Algeria,India,Pakistan,Sri lanka,Zambia,Uganad,Saudi arabia,United Arab Emarites,Kenya,Bulgaria and many other countries.
Pakistanies come to join normally MBBS OR one year language programme for Ukrainian language.
Indian students mostly study at medical universities for MBBS in english medium of instruction.
Off course many pakistanies in meduical,computer and language programme come every year even one pakistani student who is american national is studying at Kharkov medical state university because of the value of degree and free merit.in USA as he says the fee is 25000$ per year while in Ukraine it is 4000$ per year.
Even from UAE some Indians, Bangladeshi and Pakistani people arrived on visit visas.
well I dont think ukraine is comparable when its free education in Germany, Sweden, Denmark for all students, you just have to afford your accommodation. thats all in english courses. when I opted to study abroad and expensive UK i didnt know about this i would have gone there instead.
Not all education is in English, only limited education is in English. Plus Schengen Student visa is not that easy to get from Pakistan, pretty complicated procedure. Living cost of DK & SE is sky high (I have stayed in both countries as well as in Norway for work purpose) & Germany is not cheaper either. But ya plus point is one doesn't have to pay the tuition fee. MBA & Medical courses in English are sky high Even in these countries (they are not free). Pakistani student will never study M.A in Classic Music even if he is given free accommodation with Free education, most Pakistanis/indians study MBA or IT related degrees & they are usually not free. Some IT degrees are free but only in local languages.
^^ well I dont think visa for UK or US is any easier than Schengen states i know there are not all english courses but many are available in english. and i think free tuition compensate that enen you have learn a new language a bit.
Pakistani students must prefer USA,UK or Shengen countries for study because facilities there but the main issue they face after a wait for months is visas problems so when they are refused or those who cant afford to study in USA,UK or Shengen countries than they come to Ukraine afterall because visa is guarenteed upon education ministry's confirmation of admission directly in the embassy of Ukraine in Islamabad.
A lot of Pakistanies here ae in Ukraine and many of them were refused by mentioned countries so it became their last option but the problem with Ukraine is that one only semester a year.Admissions begin on 15th May and closes on 1st September.
Even a boy is studying at Medical university who is born Pakistani but USA citizen,His father sent him for study MBBS in Ukraine because of high feeses in USA.
In Ukraine they pay 3500$ per year while in USA they had to pay 25000$ per year.
