So , for ages and ages , some students feel comfortable studying while sitting infront of the TV or even listening to music … they feel they concentrate more that way …
What studying style did you have? the type that would sit in a room , all alone and focus on their books only .. or the type that would walk around while studying .. or any other tareeka of studying , please share …
It was easy for me to practice math , calculus , algebra , accounting etc where you do not need concentration in front of a TV or while music was on. But for everything else where you need to concentrate to study , like physics , chemistry , economics I would close the door to shut out all kind of distractions.
I have to have music or nothing goes in.
If nothing is working then I'll walk around the garden whilst reading or go to the lake or the park and work for a while.
New songs, a change of scenery or new, colourful stationary always gets me working.
I could never listen to music or watch TV while studying, but I would study really well in a library environment or a cafe - just needed to be around ppl.
Writing is a whole different game though... I need to be shut alone in a room to be able to write - just need to have different seating arrangements (desk/club chair/bed etc.).
