I know a person from Abu Dhabi. She completed her MBA few years back and applied to Canada for a 1-year certification program. The University of Calgary admitted her but the Embassy refused her Visa stating that she might not return after her studies once her Visa is over. She is kinda frustrated now and doesn't know what to do.
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
PS - Do you think she should have applied for PhD instead?
EDIT: She mentioned that she also got the 'rejection' stamp on her passport. Would that play any role in her visa if she applies in the future?
Well in UK if they reject Student Visa you have right to file a pittition(pls Spell check) with court if the court beleive you are right and will order the Embassy to give him or her Student Visa. One of my cousion wins his case and now he is in UK:) I strongly beleive Canada do have same laws as UK. (he was in Pakistan and just send them copy of his application and rejection stamp whatever was that.
