Study of Islamic History

Where can one study Islamic History, without the gross bias often seen-like C4’s “LionHeart”-in favour of the kafir POV.

I am seriously considering this type of study later in life, after I finish my BA (2005 insha-Allah, by the grace of Rasool-Allah), but there seems only limited places to do this, and those too are often from a non Muslim POV.

I want to learn and exalt in all there brilliance the defenders of Al Islam from the expansionist Kafirs in our hey day, such men as Suleman Al Kanooni, Saladin and all the Muslim Kings of India.

Any places which offer such courses?

1241 Choongi Road, Block 16 Afra-Khel Madrasa 2nd Floor

this is the only place you can learn the fanatic version of islam which you are craving

The best is to read history written by Historian and not by religious personalities. Religious Personalities are bias and they present history to defend their view

start with Phillip Hittis books... 'Short History of the Arabs.'
and others..

Mo_Best... here in the UK they teach Islamic studies, Islamic History/civilization at many Universities...

When someone wants to study Islamic History from a muslims point of view, they are automatically labelled fanatics.

But when they want to study Non Muslim History they are labelled geniuses.

Maybe you should start and give us a good pointer Kaka Malang.
