Study Finds 13% of Kashmiris are Torture Victims, 12% Victims of Sexual Violence

Re: Study Finds 13% of Kashmiris are Torture Victims, 12% Victims of Sexual Violence

^ I am not sure what else you would imply from - "From a recent study carried out by ReliefWeb across 30 Kashmiri villages..."

And btw, what about the rule about the opening poster including his own comments about what he/she wants to discuss ? Looks like you forgot that in your enthusiasm to rebut my posts :)

those things are to be ignored when there is even the slightest buu of India bashing 'round the corner...

The editorializing is done in the thread title, and the fact that she posted a specific section, along with context of where and when the material was published.

Had I been mod at the time, I would've asked her for more direction to the thread, however that is not the case. As it stands, the thread meets the rules of the forum, IMO.

Re: Study Finds 13% of Kashmiris are Torture Victims, 12% Victims of Sexual Violence

^^
posting of specific sections counts as giving one's personal views?

So I can post a specific section from an article without any comments, and that will work ? How about posting an entire article without comments ? After all whatever I want to say would be in the article itself.

I am sure some clarity on this issue would help a lot of posters :)

Re: Study Finds 13% of Kashmiris are Torture Victims, 12% Victims of Sexual Violence

it often comes down to a judgement call. is this person a troll who is copy pasting a bunch of text with no intention of discussion. at the time of this thread, the poster in question was one of the most active debaters. a suitably discussion directing thread title and some context about where and when the news is from is completely fine if you have the forum bona fides.

With all the hoo haa over Palsetine, people seem to hae forgotten about the ill treatment of muslims in Kashmir.

Right now everyone including the Kashmiri's are focussed on the detoriating security situation in Pakistan.

For the sepratists it is going to be a hard sell, the idea of joining Pakistan, in the present situation. So they are keeping a low profile and hence a peacefull Kashmir ... as of now !!!!!

Fiction is easy to forget, facts stay with you forever ;)

You can never beat an idiot in a discussion.

I have very often come across such propaganda....but i can never understand how come only non-Muslims were kicked out peacefully out of Kashmir, whereas there is no migration of Muslims or any kind of illigal birth rate (let us compare the situation to the creation of Bangladesh)...and this we can talk for entire India where Muslims are being repressed (as per their propaganda).
