Studies and disappointment

Re: Studies and disappointment

My motivation is always my father. He has worked hard all his life and even after coming here to States, is still working hard to earn another professional degree. He was basically doing MD in Crib. Island many years ago (before I was born) but due to financial aide and few other circumstances, he had to go back to Pakistan. So seeing him study and working keeps me motivated. If he, being at his age, can get A's throughout his cources and keep a GPA of 3.8 and get presidential award, then I should have no excuse to do bad (which I don't Alhamdulillah).

I have seen many people in my life (and still do)who have worked hard and are working full time, driving cabs AND studying and still doing good in their cources (and by good, I don't mean getting C's and D's). And they are not working for their own pleasure but rather because they have to, otherwise I am sure they would rather concentrate on their studies. Hard working people like these have always inspired me.
