Stuck with Sea green !

I am stuck with sea green eyeshadow:no: I open up the palette and end up putting on sea green , day after day after day :smack: … on every single dress …

A few years ago it was Silver color … I could see no other shade but silver .. for years i was on it … and getting stuck is so wrong , you dont get to experiment … when i wear other colors i feel I dont look as fresh in them :frowning:

Have you guys ever encountered this issue? not just with an eyeshadow but maybe a lipstick shade or any other thing … how open are you to experimenting new styles with your cosmetic?:hmmm:

I do it with the ‘goldish’ brown of my palette
That’s why I’ve bought lots of coloured liners and I force myself to use them.
And this transparent gloss also :smack:

CB, does the seagreen eyeshadow go with every outfit? I've been keeping my eyes really neutral these past few months...it's just easier, but I need to start using some colour again.

Syraa, more or less it does … I mean I dont feel odd , but then i am stuck with it na :hinna: … I dunno if I am making a fashion mistake :cb: … but when i am wearing pink, the bluish sea green acts as a contrast …

Overall I like more pinkish toned make up , so the greeny shadow works more as a contrast then match my dress :hinna: but try it , its a nice color .. no wait , i dont want you hooked to it as well :cb:

Bella , try wearing lighter colors first .. they make you look fresher and dont have a drastic impact on the face … so once you get used to them , then you can try other sharper colors ..:hmmm:

I've given up on eye shadows. I just can't have so much makeup on my eyes. It really irritates me :(

Ah okay, I get ya! I think green eye makeup really suits desi skin and brown eyes, maybe I should try using greens more often :smiley:

Suppose there’s a technique to applying eyeshadow. Especially with brighter colours. If applied incorrectly, it can make you look somewhat like a drag queen! :bummer:

Bella I totally feel you, I used to be scared of applying eyeshadow before too, but I’ve managed to pick up a few helpful tips of the best ways to apply them. And now I think it just completes the look. I don’t wear it everyday, but whenever I dress up, I do! Start of by reading up it and then work your way over to YouTube! :slight_smile:

browns is what im stuck on too .. im too scared to wear bright colors :frowning:
