Some idiot who sat in the back seat of my car pulled the centre seat belt out all the way. Now it’s stuck…hanging all loose and won’t retract.
Anyone know how I can fix it myself?

try to pull it out a little bit and let it go. If that does not work, then use scissors

There is nothing more left to pull. I tugged and tugged on it but it seems to be out all the way.

since, there is nothing to pull out, it won't let it go itself, hence the advice of scissors. you can use a knife instead though.

It'll pop free...Probably the lock mechanism is caught on the last groove...

take it to the dealership and ask for a refund. If they refuse play the song
"Drove my chevy to the levy" and dirve it through the dealership. Call us once you are in jail so we can send you the album "Jail house rocks".
I would put the car in reverse and backup and then stop abruptly, put the car in park and nudge the seatbelt. Oh better yey look at the bright side, now you can give car rides to the FOGs and HCMs (Hutti Cutti Mutiarans).
