Guys, im stuck at a cross road i have to options available to choose from mis and finance? i feel like finance options are limited right now, and finance degree is not transferable to other countries as much as MIS is. if i choose either i wouldn’t lose any time or money.
Need help guys, what do you think has a better future?

Well, common thing about both these majors is the competition. If you do a majors in Finance, you are generally competing with ACCA and CAs. If you do a majors in MIS, then you'll have competition with IT degree holders. I assume your majors are for MBA, my suggestion would be to go for Finance and then you can do a course in IT later.

apart from the common core on strategy/project mgmt/performance mgmt etc., vastly different aptitudes required for each concentration - stick to your gut and go with the option that aligns with your interests. Both fields have good prospects on the whole.

my Gut feeling is to go with MIS, but what's the biggest different between ITM vs MIS? My college only offers ITM. My plan was to go with finance, I don't want to sell life insurance or be financial advisor. I had internship at financial company and I didn't like it too much.

You cannot choose or should not choose for something that has potential. Choose something that aligns more with your passion and interest.

In many cases, the universities brand their programs differently… some call it ITM, others call it ISM - as long as you get the core MIS courses, you should be fine… these include: Systems Analysis and Design ; E-Business/E-Commerce ; Business Process Management ; Database Management ; Enterprise Systems ; Project Management.
