Sarah, um, showing my age here but 60-70-80's was my fight. As far as the rest of the world, my fight is where my family lives. There is no high horse here, hon. Boundaries of culture and color, that is your hang-up not mine. And really, this was a bit of a lame attempt at placing guilt. I also never claimed that this was a great feat, thanks for telling me though. I'll really try to remember this.

So, what fight do you wish me to take up, I have two hands and one life. Of course I will be selective about my issues. I picked my issues and I work with them and made a lot of progress with them. My issues center around abused women and children.
Everyone has something that is dear to them, that is mine.
Why should I worry about the, um..... "8 year old female sex workers in the third world"? I am not being obtuse but that has nothing to do with me or with what I do. Now if that eight yr old is in my reach, fine, she got a place and care. Superwoman I ain't and never claimed to be. I also refuse to shoulder the guilt for not worrying all night about a child I can't help in a country I'm not in, not when I can save more in my own backyard.
Perhaps if there is a need in another country, maybe you should do that if that is what is close to your heart.
