Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

India is fighting a lost war in Kashmir, the morale of these terroristic occupiers is at an all time low, thats why you see hundreds of indian soldiers stationed in kashmir each year commiting suicide under the pressure, and the guilt of opressing Kashmiries. They would liek you to think that people in kashmir Valley have all of a sudden become indian flag hositing indian nationalists, but then again, truth always comes out.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

well...my cuzin is in delhi and she has three of her best friends from Srinagar..infact when her friend went back to srinagar after her exams, she was in a bazaar and there was a bomb blast and she got hurt..next week she was back in delhi..her bro works in Noida..that is like a satellite city of Delhi..and incase u dont know..a lot many ppl..not just kashmiri pundits but Muslims too have moved out of Kashmir! All because of this nonsense violence there..those moronic terrorists dont care for people..they are just being paid to do whatever their bosses ask of them...and if u r showing those protests as sings of opression..well they are carried out in every city of India..what's the big deal..everyone's got a problem with the govt..they are *****es in every sense of word -- the politicians I mean. But serriously there is no way the two kashmirs are going to become one again..unless India captures Pak-occupied kashmir back :P

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

Fact is fact buddy… Indians are nothing more the an illegal occupation force, and the Kashmiris are justified in fighting them…
Indian troops are no better then the so called terrorists… I would say that the Indian Army is the biggest organized terrorsit organization in the world.
The fact that you support them only shows the degree of brainwashing you have undergone at the hands of your terror supporting Indian govt. Wake up and smell the coffee my friend. The two Kashmirs will be one again, and the best way to do it is for Pakistan to take it back by force. Lucky for you we are a peacful nation.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

actually no. they are living in refugee camps in their own place. and india should have conducted elections in 1989 and even now india and pakistan should work out the modalities for proceeding forward.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

even pakistanis have to smell the coffee of harsh realities perpetrated by militants.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

Well then thats Indias fault for not taking care of its people… Perhaps you should be protesting your govt insensitivity!

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

Arent we the ones asking for a resolution to the Kashmir issue?

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

everybody wants it. kashmiris want it, kashmiri pundits want it and ofcourse even i want it.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

in india, even to take a decision whether to construct an airport or not, it takes a llllooooooooot of time. government is insentive to everything i guess. i dont know to what should we protest.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

'Militants' are there to fight against the illegal occupiers. What are the illegal occupiers there for?

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

Then what are we debating?

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

If the Pundits are living in misery as you say, then perhaps the govt should spend some of those millions its spends every year on pacifying Kashmir in looking after the welfare of displaced Pundits… I mean, if your govt had as much enthusiasm in helping the pundits as they do in portraying their suffering, they may have actually had a place for these people to live after 15 years of fighting in the Valley. Almost seems as though your govt is useing the Pundits as tool… Keep them suffering to remind everyone that they are suffering! Thus you certainly cant pin the blame for your pundit problem on us.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

Indian government doesn't portray their suffering. I have not seen indian government specifically talking to pundits.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

strike shuts kashmir......thread starter just highlighted this issue or just one more of his...........

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

A frankenstein hurts the creator as well.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

Pakistan calls India occupation 'illegal'. So, why does it not take it to the international courts?

The reality is that the part Pakistan occupies is the illegal one. Pakistan created the problem by sending the Jihadis there. It not only lost the Kashmiris any credibility of genuinely fighting this war(it is now precieved as just a proxy war between India & Pak) but brought untold misery on them.

To day - they are sick and hate Pakistanis like yourselves trying to be their saviours, whereas in reality all Pakistan wants is their land.

No wonder the majority now want Independence.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

With al ldue respect, Kashmir problem is as much Indias Frankenstein as anyone elses.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India’s Republic Day

I dont want to go through the history involved here… India itself went to the UN and the UN resolution was one that India accepted and promised to go through.. This was AFTER the raja signed over to India… So India never honored it commitment to the Kashmiri people…
Also, Nehru said that the decision would be up to the Kashmir people.
It was understood that the status of States like Kashmir would be decided by taking the people into confidence which never happened in Kashmir.
India set a precedence by taking over Hyderabad Deccan despite the fact that the Raja did not choose to join India.
The uprising in Kashmir valley started by Kashmiris themselves and only later foreign militants came in… And its obvious that even to this day, the majoirty of Kashmiris in the Vlley want to independance.
The sooner everyone accepts that the better…

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

You do not understand, but most Kashmiris have ALWAYS wanted indepedence. I agree with the jihadists part, tthey most certainly did weaken the Kashmiri Freedom movement. Remember that the Kashmiri indepdence movement was just what it name implies, an indepdence movement. But these foreign jihadists(arabas, punjabies, chechens, bosnians, central asians etc) who started fighting in the name of islam, are the ones who defamed the Kashmiri movement. Kashmiri indepdnece was NEVER about religion, most KAshmiris have a very liberal apporach to Islam, we do not let religion judge our day to day lifestyles. These foreign 'jihadists' should be kicked out of Kashmir as they do nothing but hinder the movement.

Kashmiris have always favored indepdnece.

You are absolutely wrong when you say that, even thought most kashmiris favor indepdence, they would rather be part of Pakistan then of India. In Northern kashmir(northern areas) there is virtually no violence, and it is peacefull. I dont see thousands of outsider army forces occupying the lands here, infact, the military in Northern kashmir(northern lights infantry) is almost made up enitrely of Kashmiris, while Kashmir Valley, the army is all a bunch of Indian soldiers who are now losing morale from the guilt they have carried. thats why you see hundreds of indian soldiers stationed in Kashmir comiting suicide each year.

Re: Strike shuts Kashmir on India's Republic Day

How do you define a kashmiri ? *
*

1.Muslims who are completely different from the muslims living in Pakistan.
2.Kashmiri Pundits ?
3.Dards ?
4.Sikhs who have been living there for more than 400 years ?
**
There are some nations who have a 'vision' and there are others who need an issue to get 'noticed'
