Strict

On a scale of 1-10, how strict are/were your parents ??

Re: Strict

My eldest brother would have sticks broken on him.

Re: Strict

I think my parents weren’t that strict. So like half strict-ish.

We have a really good relationship with them. They’re like friends with us and because of that openness and that ability that they have to genuinely listen to us and empathize was something I now appreciate. Had they been too strict I know I would have rebelled. But because they let us make our decisions by guiding us yet giving us space we made some good choices in life. They chose to instill love instead of fear in our hearts and because of that we respect them and out of our respect and love for them we do things that they like to serve them and to serve God.

Love and kindness produce much better results.
