National Textile University banned tights, sleeveless shirts and ripped clothes.

“In order to promote a positive image of the NTU and to maintain good moral, religious and cultural values among the faculty, staff and students, a dress code has been issued and faculty members, staff and security personnel have been asked to ensure its implementation”.

Ripped clothes just appear unprofessional but tights and sleeveless? Have they seen the abundant availability of lawn and cotton sleeveless Kurtis that are meant to be worn on tights on the market ? For which the textiles industry provides the material ?

Interesting point… Textile University is going against fashion. If they ban and restrict their fashion and style at university how they create innovative design and print for textile industry.
