There are certain creams that you can use which may help. Go see a doctor to have them prescribed, or check to see if there are any over the counter creams as well.

yes and that is why i KNOW there are no prescription medicines or any other drug related remedy, I was actually looking for herbal remedies or some other tried and tested method of home remedies. This is relevant to a research study that i am conducting.
but i can appreciate the skepticism.
I think The Body Shop has some natural cremes that are used for stretch marks.

stretch marks are caused by rapid growth or excessive weight gain over a short period of time.
rapid growth can cause the tissue under your skin to tears which in turn produces an excess amount of collagen which forms the scars. collagen is a elastic fibre that is found in the dermis and allows for the natural expanding and shrinking of the skin. Both men and women can get stretch marks.
As far as I know you can't get rid of them with creams etc but Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E oil help them fade pretty well

rapid growith caused by puberty or pregnancy. sometimes athletes that work out and excercise alot will also develop stretch marks due to the rapid increase in muscle mass.
