So I’m getting married soon and I’m trying to take care of myself more. I’m eating better and going gym. I just have 2 problems that have bothered me for years and I figured if I don’t fix it now, I can never fix it.
I’m literally on my third bottle of Bio-Oil and it’s done nothing so far. How does one get rid of stretch marks on the buttocks/upper and inner thighs?! I’ve used Palmers stretch mark cream and I drink a lottt of water daily. Nothing is working! They’re so deep that they’re silver-ish and I can actually feel them when I touch them.
The cellulite is on my thighs and the back of my thighs. Dry brushing once a week has somewhat reduced the appearance. But I find if I don’t dry brush for a few weeks, the cellulite comes back?! Any home remedies?
I’m seriously considering painful methods like derma roller or even laser.
Please don’t say “embrace them” because I really can’t since I absolutely HATE them. They’re two of my biggest bodily insecurities and I desperately want to get rid of them
I get what you're feeling huni I have the same issue! And I'm not on the heavier side either, but my buttocks have these marks which make them look like an old ladys bum. :( I used bio oil too but not religiously and it did nothing so I stopped. I'm afraid but I think there is not much we can do to undo them. But you can apply bb creams to camouflage their apperance. Are they purplish or silver? Because latter is not as visible.
Honestly, stretch marks are very common and often hereditary so there isn't much you can really do to avoid getting them.
Yes sudden changes in your weight, pregnancy can cause them to appear as well but if you moisturize and take care of your skin they will fade eventually and be hardly noticeable... but not completely invisible.
Bio-oil is good, cocoa butter lotions, revitol, mamma mio are some good ones that help reduce the appearance.
