My husband is a very busy person. He’s a doctor and aside from his duties at the hospital, he has a small clinic. My husband’s been really stressed this past few months. When home, he’s very irritable and he always brings his work home. I can see him lugging charts, books, journals from our home to the clinic to the hospital. I’d like to help him in some way but I don’t know how. Is there a way that I can help him with his work-related stress? Is there an app or software that doctors use for things like charting, billing, etc? It’s really preferable that the software or app is widely used and accepted.
Re: Stressed Doctor's Wife
There are a lot of EHR's (Electronic health records), PMS' (practice Mangement System) that he can use but there is a bit more information needed since every country has their own laws when it comes to this kind of software.
Re: Stressed Doctor's Wife
Several of these Patient Management Systems are cloud based, so you can access them from both home and work.
Re: Stressed Doctor's Wife
as Us1415 said, there are many patient management system and billing systems available for different countries as these need to be customized for local health and insurance laws. These system can take care of registering new patients to submitting insurance claims etc.

Hello. Thank you for replying.
I called my husband's former colleague who's also a family friend. This is the same thing he said. He said that I should tell my husband to upgrade to using EHR systems. He even recommended what he uses. This the {URL REMOVED} that he uses. I'm pretty optimistic that this software is good since it came highly recommended. But I'd like some more feedback about this. Have you ever used this software?
I'd feel really bad if my husband uses this and then gets disappointed. Thanks!

You want one of us to do MBBS, start practicing, get loads of patients then use this software and share opinion.
Ain't nobody got time for that!
Re: Stressed Doctor's Wife
i dunno which part of the world you are but why doesn't he hire a secretary [medical], like any other doctor in the west, to look after the clerical work?
