I think there is a correlation...if you mean stressed in the sense of anxiety...otherwise, sexual arousal is itself a cause of stress.

I'd have to agree with PCG because if you've noted Downsydrome patients can never be sexually aroused due to this mental illness/stress.

Stress can be one of the many causes of sexual arousal disorder, but at the same time, sexual activity also reduces stress significantly.

yes they depend on eachother. i have experienced it myself recently. when I am stressed , its pretty much last think I would think of.

It is a catch 22 scenario. You wana have sex to relieve stress but get stressed out for not having enough sex.

Downs syndrome have developmental arrest all around.They cant suffeciently have 100% arousal like normal .Therefore they get stressed Not the other way round..Stress is not retardation but mental function of DISTRESS at not being “good enough” like when the moderators are very stressed they go on at random irratic deleting mode for silly things !!! :nahnah:
