Have you seen those abandoned orphan kids on the side of the streets? Getting high or begging or trying to find food or trying to wash your car so they can make a few bucks?
Instead of being in school?
I am wondering if any of you guys know of any NGO’s or projects that are underway to work on this social problem in Pakistan?

this is pretty heart warming, ppl who grw up as kids in sos villages returning to the villages to give advise to the kids growing up there now.

“The Citizens Foundation” and “Your Dil” build schools in less privileged areas of pakistan. when my mom was in pakistan she visited a school set up by the citizens foundation and she mentioned they are doing a great job. www.thecitizensfoundation.org. one of my cousins teaches at one of these schools managed by this organization.
your-dil usually holds events (concerts etc) in new york and some other states (DC etc) and raises money for such projects in pakistan.
