Strawberry rain

The sweet smell of love drips from the sky
I open my heart and mouth to the watery fruit
and rain bounces from my hair streaming down my face
The sun still shines as I drink the strawberry rain
The rain as sweet as the smell of her hair
The fruit of love rains into my heart
The sky a deep blue, the air a weak whisper
I fall into the water and like warm arms she holds me
Her fingers play tricks across my back as I move down the river
The sweet taste of summer hangs in the air
The trees seem to drift as I float away,
arms reaching out to the sky.
