Then you agree with Jack Straw. He didn’t say all Pakistanis but some. And that is totally true.

He said there is a specific problem with men of Pakistani heritage. No matter how you want to spin it, that’s bigoted.

Let me explain. Pakistani men think having sex with a white girl is a big accomplishment because of the colonial past and the media which portrays white girls as the most beautiful, etc. So when these Pakistani men see these girls drinking and having fun they think that’s an open invitation to force themselves upon them. They will never do this to Pakistani girls because they are Muslim and these girls being Christian, gives them an open invitation.

Hold on mate, you say that because you think that. You’re assuming something based on your perception. Don’t try and brush everyone up like that. And I didn’t want to go there but now you’ve made me. Yeah, white girls are easy. You know why? Because to them, promiscuity isn’t that big of a deal. Of course I’m talking relatively and so before everyone wants to get their gloves on, I’m trying to explain the perception. And you assume these girls are Christian, again shows that there’s no grey area for you. They could be Jewish, Atheists, etc… So whatever, if the media portrays them as the most beautiful girls, that is a perception you nurture. It’s all coming out now mate.

Read it. What he is stating is a truth which no in the Pakistani community wants to hear. It’s good to be splashed with some verbal cold water to wake this community up.

And what truth might that be? The truth that pretty much every community on this earth needs to hear too. Rapists, Paedophiles and Creeps do not belong to a race or a culture, they’re freakin’ everywhere buddy. So when you want to take potshots at the Pakistani community, step back and think what you’re saying holds true for just that particular ethnicity. Jack Straw would have been better off saying it’s an issue our society needs to have a look at rather than simply mentioning Pakistanis as having some sort of ingrained behaviour.

I think there is something to be seen. Pakistanis believe that being Muslim makes them morally superior to the rest and that’s why they look down on other religions. Personally, I would bestow on them the same punishment which is written in Sharia for Rape, which is chopping their heads off.

Yeah, being a Muslim makes me superior to a non-Muslim only if I have Taqwa/Imaan. I don’t take being Muslims for granted and yeah, I can get on my high horse. You know what; Islam says humans are not superior to another but for their Taqwa/Imaan. So you’re telling me I should be an apologist? Slow down there. Why should I be obsequious for the sake of being pleasing others?

I don’t get it. This thread is about the racist nature of Jack Straw’s comments. No one here is defending those men. They deserve the most severe punishments the pansy British law can muster. If you want to blame anyone, blame the lax penal laws of the UK and of course these messed up people who take advantage of that.

So before you lot get on your high horses and chastise Pakistanis. What these men did happens every day all over the world. No one is debating the vileness of their acts. All we’re saying is singling out Pakistanis, even if mentioning it was SOME or subtly implying the HERITAGE is to blame, is wrong. No two ways about it. Stop being a sorry bunch and drop a pair.

One thing we agree on, rapists/paedophiles/creeps need to be taken care of properly. I’m down with that.

EDIT: I’m not even British and I find such comments unjustified.
