Are you okay with going to events/parties with your spouse and his/her male and female friends/co-workers?

Don’t you feel a bit strange or awkward about it?

Not usually. However I dislike to spend time with them if I don't have anything in common with them, and try to get out of it. If I feel it wouldn't be right if I don't go, then I just make the best of it. Grin n bear it, if you feel it will benefit your other half.

I would try to go and get to know the people my husband works with.

Also because I like making my presence known. :)

Very true.. i would go just so people would know *who *i am and what kinda person i am.

Everybody you are friends with now was a stranger to you at a point of time . You took some initiative and that person did too, now you are friends . It works in every situation.

Yea i would feel a little strange and akward cause i'm pretty shy...but as long as he's there then it shouldn't be too bad. And yea you gotta make your presence known lol!!!

no i dont. most of the people in my wife's circle know me by name any way (and I know them by name too). I always look forward to put a face to a name.
