Lol just wondering whether anyone actually uses these and whether there is any truth in them…
I remember some guy saying that a womans fertility is determined by the how curvy she is…so big breasts indicate that she can have loads of kids…
Another one which is more common and i can say has crossed my mind is judging the girl by the way her mum looks…if her mum is in her 40s and is looking nice then you kind of assume that your gal will age well…
Wondered if anyone used these two theories…had heard any other ones…and whether they felt there was any truth to them…
back in the day (in the 50s-60s) women who colored their hair were considered foolish and superficial and just not good, and i think u can kinda see that with desis nowadays..girls who color theri hair are ABCDs or hate hteir own culture or that they’re fashionable (which is sometimes considered a bad thing by others) etc etc..
Lol Sara dont misquote me...If you think that a Paki girl who gets her hair cornrowed is losing her culture by acting 'black' then by the same token girls that highlight their hair blonde can be seen to be acting 'white'...and in effect lose their culture...

And FYI, whenever I am at an airport, I go with my mother who does wear a hijab and abaya and neither she nor I have ever been unfairly profiled..AND I do have highlighted hair and it looks damn good on me, not like the yellow stripes that dark desi girls try to get to look like everynoe eles. I dont know about the myths, but I have seen documentry on discovery health channel, and they have said more curvey women(small tummy, big bums) has more chances to arouse men, has more sex and hence more chances to have kids more often.
I didnt mean to say chubby girls. they said fit girls who has more difference in measurements between bums and kamar!
some indian muslim folks here asses potential bride by checking out how curvy her bottom is lolz.... my husband's nani did tat to me when i first met her.. i was like wat da hell, she kinda slapped my behind!!!! lolz
In our family, it's the opposite. They like their girls thin. They want her to look young, not like she's already popped out a couple of kids. My cousin is married to a girl who is rather chubby, and during the engagement, all the snippy chachis couldn't resist airing out their disappointment at her size.
