Saima I am pretty sure in some industries they do drug testing specially with sensitive shipments and drivers for those shipments and what not.
As for other things, yes police usually just comes and arrests you without much evidence when your significant other reports that you have abused her, that is specially true in mississauga. Happend to a friend of mine and not an easy place to be in. These cases don’t amount to much in the end and usually end up in a truce by both parties but the guy can kiss all his stuff good bye unless he wants to go through a lengthy civil litigation process which will take too long. I think sehrysh may be able to provide a better legal prespective on it but this stuff does happen exactly like how the OP said.
