Here you go. How do we measure the direction of time (or the fact that time is flowing forward and not backward) is by looking at the disorder that is emerging from an order. You drop a cup from table and it will shatter into pieces. That is the example of disorder emerging from order. This process could never reverse. Shatter pieces from the floor will never jump back on to the table and become a solid cup. This disorder from order (increase of entropy) points towards the direction of time (or that time is flowing forward).
