The unofficial line is that they should get bangladeshi citizenship as many of them don’t want to come to pakistan anyway.
Thats right. Nobody cares about them. It could be done by Zia’s regime if not Bhutto’s but both the nationalist power in the governments wont allow that.
And let me say this. There are v strong chances that even the announcement of Afghanis/Bengalis getting Pakistani citizenship wont be implemented. That would be due to the same factor of establishment present in every govt
Why do you want these people to come to Pakistan? Bangladesh is far better country than Pakistan. Economically Bangladeshi has excelled. They should start living there as Bangladesh citizens. By the way let Sindhis and Sindh alone. Haven’t you done much damage to Sindh province?
