How do you store yours? Or how do you generally store heavy desi clothing?

I keep every dress in plastic bag to save it from dust and then store all the packets in suitcases :)

yeah, usually for heavy formal wear the shops give you a special plastic cover to put the clothes in. I keep my heavy formal wear in those covers and hang them in a separate almari

I keep paper in my clothes between the embroidery work to n then put in a plastic cover / bag

I wrap mine in a mal mal ka dupatta and then put it in a suitcase. My mom said that the mal mal ka dupatta helps keep the kaam from tarnishing specially the wedding dress. Even after 25 yrs my moms wedding dresses look new the kaam hasnt tarnished at all.

I keep mine in-side-out and folded. I heard you shouldn't keep them hanging as the heavy work will pull the fabric down.. specially the chiffon ones!
