storing / freezing hari mirch

Without losing their theekapan. Any ideas ?

Re: storing / freezing hari mirch

nip the stem off the mirchies and let all the outside water/moisture dry then freeze small portions in small Ziploc bags. make sure to squeeze all the air out of the bag as much as you can before zipping the bags up.

We just wash and chop em small and store in ziplock bags. In the freezer they go.. Never loose the teekhapann.

Re: storing / freezing hari mirch

I take a whole bunch like the entire tray. I deseed half of them and the other half I just throw them in with the seeds, clip them with poultry scissors in small pieces then chop them in the magic bullet…scoop it with a small spoon into the silicon trays and that goes in the freezer. So far I haven’t had any problems doing it this way.

It does take me a long time to do, and it also burns the eyes; so I ONLY do it at night when my kids are asleep but I need my mirchein :yummy:
