hi friends,
i m gonig to pakistan\karachi in less than a month now so i wanted you ppl to tell me what sort of fashion trend is going on in karachi right now e.g what sort of pant and shirt styles + can u ppl also tell me good stores in karachi where i could get good pants and shirts and kurta sort of things for when i m coming back here to toronto… i will really appriciate your help..
I m also going to abu dhabi and dubai so if u no good fashionable and reasonable stores there to shop for when i m coming back to canada plz tell me and also tell me what type of style is on there + i m a teen so tell me stores according to my age..thanxs for your time …mahika:)

i have been to pak like 3 years ago so i dunno if there r any new store or not but dubai the last time i went was i dunt even remember wen so plz help moi or else wen i go there i m just going to b soo lost and right now u guyz need to tell me what time clothes u ppl wearing so i could by them and jus dont look odd...anywayz thanxs for your time!!

okay! I am off to karachi in a few weeks too...

But what exactly are you looking for? I can only suggest shops in clifton coz i dont know any other areas that well. If you will stay in the same area i can suggest a few good and reasonable places to go to. Also are you willing to get tailor made stuff or just like to buy ready made?

I personally don't like the designer stuff as it is way too expensive. I always get my fabric and get it made according to my own choice and taste from either kehkashan marker oppsoye uzma market, gulf/cliff shopping mall (i kinda not like the environment in there), aashiana or gizri (ghosia market is superb) specially this guy called abbas he makes really nice embrioded kurtis.

if you are looking for something more formal go to kehkashan market, they copy designers like HSY, umar sayeed, Faiza Sami and Karma...

I went to see umar sayeed to order some clothes, next day i saw the same stuff in kehkashan and cancelled my plans to buy from US. the difference in price is great.

i think thats near gulistan-e-johar, i personally havn't been there. to be very honest you wont find good clothes in such a mall, you have to go to the clothes market for a variety. these new malls like forum and park towers are good for other stuff but i wont recommend them for your clothes shopping!!!

there are quite a good few darzis in badar commericial, try that too. My darzi is in ashiaana and he is called tariq, he knows his work well, especially for sari blouses and pants.

umm...thanks fara well i m mostly looking for like t-shirts ops n pants\jeans something i could easily wear to skool..like u no fashionable sort of stuff i no pak has good stuff cause alot my friendzz have such nice jeans and tops and kurtis from pak so i want something like that but 4 shalwar kamiz n things i have my own fashion designer lolzz;)
