while going shopping for a digicam should the storge media be a factor worth a thought ??
there is a price difference on all of the above and with such a huge variety of cams on the market it is really confusing when u have to do proper research about power sources (wide variety of batteries / adopters) / storage devices / interchangeable lenses and accessories

go for the camera that fits your requirements. Personally power options would be an important feature but memory cards wouldn't.. the difference is negligible in terms of writing speeds and u'd more likely be inhibited by the camera itself than the writing delays between memory cards.
CF's are cheaper and larger.. the smaller in size they get the more expensive they are.. but usually it's a one time purchase.
Batteries however are very important as digital cameras eat up batteries.. i would always want my ideal digital camera to support AA batteries because they are so readiily available and u can use your NiMH in them..
