jaan leva...however anyone wants to take it, i could care less if people know i'm on my period...God gave it to me...if it makes men uncomfortable i couldn't care less because it makes me a helluva lot more uncomfortable :D i never understood the point of being ashamed of something like this shrugs
i've used birth control to regulate my period (i've always been pretty irregular) and i've used it to stop my period before it started last year when i went to Hajj, b/c we've gone on umrah twice and both times my random period decided to start...and since Hajj is a big deal i didn't want to start in the middle of it or before i even got there
my question here though, was stopping it once it's already started...not forever just a few days until i came home
there are other reasons to use birth control besides preventing conception
many, many women use birth control without having any long-term effects

as with all medications though, you should consult a doctor...and you need to talk to a doctor anyways in order to get the pill regardless don't you?
for the ladies who are having problems now because of the pill, you should also go talk to a doctor...the problem isn't going to go away on its own
for me it worked for both regulating my period and for stopping it when necessary without any problems...i mean i guess i don't know about the future, but i trusted my doctor and inshallah i'll be fine in the future
