I would imagine if you were going for hajj/umrah, you wouldn’t want to be disrupted by your period…right? I remember a classmate took birth control specifically for that reason…she said after spending so much money for hajj, you don’t want your period to ruin it.
I can’t think of any other reasons though…and I wouldn’t really recommend it, if your cycle is normal, consider it a blessing…y ou don’t want to mess with it.
