Yeah a guy complemented me on my purse the other day (i am pretty sure he was straight). Hubs wasnt too pleased

i dont mind stopping IF ive searched and searched for the same thing and couldnt find it..
i once wanted a specific kinda purse by dkny but couldnt find it anywhere.. i saw a girl with it and asked her.. she told me it was from out of country 
then i stopped another couple to ask them where they got their stroller from cuz it was the one i wanted and coudlnt find it anywhere.. again.. out of country
yeh out of country kaun si country hai! cuz i wanna live there! everything comes from there!
ive been stopped to be asked bout my clothing and lipstick … oh and its the most flattering when ure not wearing any lipstick and get asked where u got that color cuz its soooo nice a minute to bask in my own glory please :halo:

Yes I wouldn't mind asking anyone. I usually ask the makeup ladies ( working at the counters)

I ask all the time. ALL THE TIME. I stop so much that my husband goes annoyed and scared that I might get a rude reply from someone. I stop for everything. Even when I am shopping in a store and I see another person trying something cute, i'll ask them what part of store should I be looking for that item.
I am fine with talking to strangers and I don't make them feel uncomfortable. I ask in a way they feel good and comfortable. That's the key.
That’s it! I’m going to stop someone and ask tomorrow..even if it’s a hideous accessory they’re wearing 
I’m pretty comfortable talking to anyone.. it’s just the asking bit I’ve never done.

^you should, people always get SO flattered when a stranger compliments and asks them- make sure you sound sincere though.
I ALWAYS ask, otherwise I'd go crazy trying to find the stuff and still won't find it. So smile, compliment and ask works for me.

yup, i ask people, random strangers if i like their shoes, accessories, i ask where they got it.
i’ve been asked once or twice by random strangers about random stuff. it’s nice.

I have no problems complimenting but any time I ask, I get the “oh I got it from my country [colombia/dominican republic/mexico/albania]”

I almost stopped this girl getting out of the elevator today but didnt because I was late! She had the cutest light blue handbag...uff...I kept thinking about it all the way up...it would have just taken a minute...now I look like a crazy person running after her in the parking garage!
Im keeping my eyes peeled for herr...
I finally stopped someone in a lobby to ask and compliment her handbag, she said her husband gave it to her!
She then touched my hair and asked me if they were extensions.. what a waste of an ‘stop-to-ask’

I ALWAYS ask... lol it's funny how some people that don't want to tell you will say... oh i got it from a Store in NY/CA/PA/FL.... not sure what it was called.

yes, i do ask... in a market, in university, in offices hehe.. though i get scold by anyone whose with me coz of doing so hehe
the other day i asked a girl abt her haircut n she was so rude, she didnt even smile :( i said her she was looking so pretty but still she answered abt the cut n parlour in such a low tone that i cldnt hear it :S anywayz nahi tu na sahi :P mujhay kia
if some one gives me a compliment like that out of nowhere i wld die hehe
but yes i do ask ppl and lovee to give compliments
