exactly....methods are not right...so why not try to right our methods?
and besides, when the good times are around, we dont do anything, and take it all for granted..and when the testing times roll around, they seem way too long.
Muslims were a force to reckon with, not for one or two years....but for well over 1000 years, across the world. Now its been over a hundred years at best since muslims have been down. So comparatively, muslims have had more ups than downs. Just that we have drawn ourselves to dwell on those ups just a bit too much.
and most of all, does this temporary defeat allow us to desert our faith? i hope not.

whats with this 'romanticizing' business? Why cant u understand a simple concept that differentiates Islam from other religions? Islam is not confined to the masjid, or the Quran. Islam is a part of each and every living second of our lives......hence we talk about it the way we do.
The soldiers who fight for your country's army and die....do you think they 'waste their precious gift of life?' I hope thats not how meager their sacrifices are to you.
Mujahideen's purpose is to guard the integrity and ability to practice Islam. Its no different than american forces sticking their noses in every other country of the world and guarding their sovereignty. But for some reason, u always seem to concentrate on 'muslims', 'islam' and 'jehadis?'.
Take the time to understand the concept of Islam in its entirety, and then we can entertain your objections in a better way.

GFQ and Akif, just look at the different threads in this religion section. Most of them show the rifts caused by religion among us. And nothing good comes of these discussions in the end. You have some members getting emotional, others angry and then the threads are locked.
And this forum just has as members, pakistanis belonging to more or less the same class of Pakistani society and just look at the difference of opinions. Imagine the bigger picture involving all the Pakistanis... a complete mess.
At this time our religion is dividing us, giving us stuff to fight abt and thus slowing down our progress.
