Do you think Musharraf had any other alternative ? Look what they did with Iraq and with Afghanistan. Do you think nuclear arsenal of Pakistan could help avoid carpet bombing or Daisy Cutter attacks by US ?
Taliban the so called friends of Pakistan never ever agreed to ratify Durand line , Pakistan made many attempts to get it ratified but it never happened.
It is still a bone of contention between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
