^ This made Musharraf allow USA to use Pakistan’s air space in order to attack Taliban, who were previously considered as USA allies against USSR. Suddenly these less educated people (with less technology) become the culprit of a massive plan of 9/11 against the world’s most powerful super power. Of course Musharraf at that time might not know that 9/11 could be planned by Bush administration to prevent the rapid rise of Islam in the world.
DO you feel that Musharraf made the right decision by avoiding “stone age” but giving rise to a fight against “Taliban age” after USA destroyed Afghanistan with the help of Pakistan ?
The bomb blasts every other day in Pakistan are mostly done by Taliban as a revenge of the mistake Musharraf made. Now we are neither friends of USA nor Afghanistan. Wouldn’t it be better to have at least one friend, i.e. if we had not allowed USA to make a shot by putting the gun on Pakistan’s shoulders

The USA is still giving Pakistan money ; the Taliban is giving Pakistan explosions.
I know which is being a friend.
Baggers cannot be chooser.
Do you think Musharraf had any other alternative ? Look what they did with Iraq and with Afghanistan. Do you think nuclear arsenal of Pakistan could help avoid carpet bombing or Daisy Cutter attacks by US ?
Taliban the so called friends of Pakistan never ever agreed to ratify Durand line , Pakistan made many attempts to get it ratified but it never happened.
It is still a bone of contention between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Some friends we had. :halo:
STP, the Taliban were not the allies of the US back in the Afghan-Soviet War; it was primarily the Mujahideen.
Also, Musharraf made up that remark to stir up the sales of his garbage book. The US official he quoted denied it, and we never heard a follow up from Mushy Man.
So u mean to say that co-alition forces support the trade? There were reports about Mr.Karzai was reluctant to take actions against war lords fearing loss of support from them in war against terror(TALIBAN).
The entire world knows that TALIBAN is finding its financial sources through opium trade .

The entire world only knows what mainstreem media is feeding them. Do you know how Afghanistan operates? All warlords in Afghanistan are not Taliban.
WASHINGTON - Pervez Musharraf’s resignation as Pakistan’s president on Monday brings to an end an extraordinarily close relationship between Musharraf and the George W Bush administration, in which Musharraf was lavished with political and economic benefits from the United States despite policies that were in sharp conflict with US security interests.

As Bruce Riedel, National Security Council (NSC) senior director for South Asia in the Bill Clinton administration, who stayed on the NSC staff under the Bush administration, observed in an interview with this writer last September, al-Qaeda “was a creation of the jihadist culture of the Pakistani army”.
If there was a state sponsor of al-Qaeda, Riedel said, it was the Pakistani military, acting through its Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Ofcorse you are right. That's why India has got it's strong links with Rashid Dostom and others.Pls remember we had our highest regards for and relations with the legendary Ahmad Shah Masood. :)
Musharraf even saw it before 11th September that TALIBAN is a such a Fitna which in very first place destroy Pakistan itself. There is No stopping to their extremism and blood killing wolf nature.

Sir, you are highly misguided by still believing that Al-Qaida has not attacked World Trade Center on 11th September while Al-Qaida and Taliban are not so much advanced in technology.
Unfortunately there are a lot of EDUCATED Muslim youth who are following the footsteps of Al-Qaida and Taliban.
Sheikh Khalid (of PakistaN) was mastermind of 11th September.
Ata Muhammad toped the German Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg [Means he was real Intelligent Student].
And there were many other Arab Students in same German University ( and also few from University of Applied Sciences Hamburg), who took part in this attack.
Supporters of Taliban bring a theory which I call "Theory of BY CHANCE" in order to prove the innocence of Al-Qaida
For them it is an "Ittefaq" (by Chance) that all these killers studied in Hamburg in Germany.
And it was also an "Ittefaq"(by Chance) that ALL of them (including Muhammad Atta) travelled to Pakistan on Passport.
And it was also an Ittefaq that all of them then Illegally croosed the border and went to Taliban Terrorist Training Camps.
And it was also an Ittefaq (by Chance) that all of them them applied for US Visas at approximately same time.
And it was also an Ittefaq (by Chance) that many of them applied in "Flying Schools" in US.
And it was also only an Ittefaq (by Chance) that at same day they had to travel to different destinations and thus boarded in aeroplanes at almost same time in different cities of America.
Muhammad Atta got a lady Pilot Teacher during training. And she was telling on TV that during flight our 60% is on "Take Off" and "Landing". But all these Arab Students used to say to leave this "Take off" and "Landing" and only tell them how to mannuover the plane Right and Left , and Up and Down.
There are still such Crazy People who believe in all this theory of Ittefaqat (by Chaces). How stupid.
all this crosstalk of where the opium is coming from and which warlord supports what is so besides the point of the immediacy of the bomb blasts, and the culpability of the people who blow themselves up amongst civilians and justify it.
so long as you will keep deflecting blame and making unprovable innuendo laden half baked arguments about who is supplying what you will keep missing this one simple point: Taleban admitted responsibility, on-air. And once they do that, anyone giving a thought to america and jews and israel and the global zionist conspiracy, is really in need of a break from thinking about politics, because clearly the conspiracy has posessed all his faculties.
I have two words for you people: Multi-task. Sure indulge your grand conspiracy investigation, but condemn what is wrong without bringing the conspiracy everywhere.

bhai sahib that has been pointed out already how religion was abused to feed to the war promoting jihad this jihad that, people do fall for that. Afterall there are people who support MQM, PPP, PML-N then very likely there'll be people falling for the "call".
