do u use them , if so which ones.
the marco pierre white Knorr ones are very good, as well as OXO
ill assume most do not use the meat ones for religous reasons, but there are vegetarian cubes.
are there any halal cubes?

Re: stock cubes
Hi there.. I use stock cubes only when cooking sauces or soups- Knorr are really good but the halal ones are Maggi- theyre widely available especially in the Middle East...happy cooking!
I use the following stock cubes:
Asda own brand veggie ones-when boiling pastas etc
Fish stock cubes (I think there from tesco...) for anything fishy
Halal Beef stock cubes (from our local desi store, imported Halal) for everything...including daals and soups
Knorr chicken stock cubes (from our local desi store, imported Halal) I add them to loads of things-daals, chicken dishes etc...
Pilau stock cubes-in rice and noodle dishes
There's loads of stock cubes on the market-Maggie do a cube (is it a seasoning cube?!) which has a serving suggestion as a drink too. Might give it a bash...

I find them too salty…![]()
Re: stock cubes
I'm not a fan of stock cubes. You can get halal cubes...try any asian grocery store.

i have soup made from stock cubes, throw in some veggies and maybe cheese, garlic you have an easy fast soup.
Yes they are salty, that is the point they add flavour, pepper, spices.
Dont add too much additional salt if your using a stock cube.
