I can drive a manual, only had manual transmission cars until after I got married, so both of us can drive both cars.

Of course the whole automatic vs manual debate has changed now with tiptronic suspension. Best of both worlds and better than both. If its good enough to become the standard in formula 1, it is good enough for us mortals.

Yes manual makes you feel all manly and more in control and it’s more fun to drive, but for the daily commute I think automatic wins hands down. Coffee in one hand, breakfast sandwich in another hand, phone in the third, i’m going to need a fourth hand now to actually shift gears!

Try riding a motorbike with all that. As if killing yourself, while riding, wasn’t easy enough.

Didn’t know they built the FX with left hand drive too.

They didnt. I used to be able to reach the paddles and the steering from the passenger side.

I say they are better than anything in that class. I learned how to drive on a FX and drove it for a good 6-7 years. Best car ever.

Seemed like it.
Use to drive the people in the other cars crazy guessing whats going on with my car. I used to hold the steering from the bottom so people couldn’t tell if the car was driving itself or if I was driving it.

Only men drive stick buddy, few reasons i can think of:

1. manual is ultimate control
2. you can’t drift in auto
3. You can’t spell manual without “man”

though i dont agree with term “stick shift” - Manual or Auto both type of transmissions have sticks!
Yes manual is fun to drive and had many manual ones, though now both my cars UK and in Pakistan are auto, but auto has its own points. they do come in dual modes if one wishes to have bit of fun along with kick down!
