A powder is not a foundation or concealer nor does it cover-up any imperfections :) it's just to keep u're skin shine-free and to set the foundation. For oily skins there are lots of water-based foundations... for pigmented skin there are high-pigment concealers/foundations.
I'f u have an oily t-zone..use a foundation followed by powder and blot with blotting paper. A powder isn't considered a foundation unless the foundation is a cream-to-powder finish.. it goes-on as cream and dries to a powder form.

i have few acne scars and uneven skin. so powder doesn nothign at all and it jst makes imperfections more prominent.
Pigmentation is usually light brown or dark brown in color.. if u try covering it up with powder it looks blue.. a big NO NO! Corrective concealers are u're best friends :)
btw i wear glasses so i have these little bit dark areas on my nose. i use concealor but yellow concealors jst make it look greenish. wat shud i do about that?

the full name of it is.. studi fix powder plus foundation, and its not at all creamy thats y i love it the texture is as light as a powder but does the work of a foundation.
Such foundations are called cream-to-powder foundations.. I am aware of MAC products and the coverage they give.. I am however, not a fan! I blv there are a lot of better foundations..
Most girl ask for foundations for acne-prone and blemished skin.. MAC powders don't provide the coverage for such skin.

Have used Lancome, Bobby Brown, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, Makeup Forever, Rimmel and a bunch of other stuff, but at this time in my life, MAC is absolutely rocking it for me.
I have some blemish scars, and with concealer and foundation, I get a flawless finish.
So I am definitely a MAC groupie at this point. Though I think that different people have different preferences due to their individual skin types, and I definitely use different products on people depending on what we're doing that day.

lovely to have u here of course! i cannot begin to tell what a great coverage studio fix gives.. its almost un real to think such a light foundation can give tht effect.. also it gets on the skin so easily too...
i only recently started using the mac primer, and tell u wht it only makes things better!
wht shadows do u use? i swear by espresso and phloof :)
I love using liquid foundation in the Winters and sticks in the Summers (for parties ofcourse) :) If i'm going to Pakistan then I take sticks with me as I feel they last longer in hot weather conditions.
