Sterotyped Cultures in media

Re: Sterotyped Cultures in media

nah actually from what i have seen brahmins are more strict in southern part then northern neighbours, brahmins in south india are much more traditional we still use sanskrit in all of our rituals where as local language is used in north india also veg thing is not just for brahmins other castes like marwari, agarwals e.t.c don’t eat meat in north india, where as every one eats atleast chicken in south india.also population of brahmins is higher in number in north india, south india consitutes just 25-30 percent of total indian population

coming to sacred places north india has the most sacred place of hinduism in kasi. but equally there are many sacred places in southern part tirupati where i come from is the richest temple in the world with vatican city coming second
also many of the temples in tamil nadu are of magnificent architecture which are built around BC
