Stephen Leather and Sherlock Holmes

Currently reading both. The former is pretty thriller stuff and very fast paced and I am on the sixth book.

The latter; I am reading Valley of Fear which is excellent stuff

Re: Stephen Leather and Sherlock Holmes

I've heard quite a bit about Stephen Leather's books. Are they any good? I believe he's also written for a couple television shows, including The Knock and London's Burning. I'm thinking of giving his books a try. Are there any you'd recommend in particular?

Mezghan,

Dan Shepherd series by Stephen Leather

Start from ‘Hard Landing’ which is book one. They are very good and fast paced. Basically an undercover SAS dealing with IRA, drug users, terror cells, gangs in Far East countries that have escaped Britain and hide in Thailand etc. I am on book six, the last two were excellent.

Re: Stephen Leather and Sherlock Holmes

Okay update :hehe:

I stopped reading it a few days ago, from being reasonable its now starting to be as predictable as a tabloid rabble about Muslims.

I have started reading Lee Child’s Jack Reacher books, more slow tempo but excellent as well.
