Treat them like you would your male friends. It becomes very very friendly very fast. And please no expectations. And NEVER ever be judgmental. If she is friendly with you it doesn't mean she is friendly with every aira ghera. Have some self confidence in YOURELF.

Fayz, I know what you are saying that desi girls (most) start seeing you in a sheerwani on a white horse the moment you ask them out... actually, I have never asked a desi girl out so I am not sure if my advice holds any value here. But regardless of whether she is a desi or not, I set my own rules and expectations. It makes my life a lot easier and I feel at peace if something goes haywire down the road.
