Steam Room vs hot room

How does the steam room versus the hot room (the room with dry heat) differ? Which one is better for you??? And secondly does anyone know what type of gels or scrubs the Asian (chinese, korean, etc) rub while sitting in the steam room? I know they have like the best skin. Some lady told me that she rubbed aloe vera what does that do (that is if I heard the name right)?

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

aloe vera is very good for the body if u have excema but it stings the body for about 2 minutes
steam room is good for u if u want to loose fat :)

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

really....how long should u sit in the steam room for? And how many days a wk should u go to the steam room?

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

I go to the steam room often......for about 20 minutes..!

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

i steam my face… <<<< i look like that once im done :hehe:…jkn

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

Steam rooms are nice its just sitting with a bunch of half naked fat guys with their bellies sticking out, not a very pleasant sight.

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

steam room is best ..not just 4 losing fat..it is very benificial 4 ur skin.it cleans ur skin from deep.i go for steam twice a week.

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

are these u are talking about suanaas

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

Yep saunas

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

i used to use the sauna after working out. i would take a shower before going into the sauna so that my skin would be clean ....but i dunno....i thought it was wrecking havoc with my skin making it dry and dehydrated. i looked (and felt) emaciated!

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

so anyone know what the asian's put on their face and body while sitting in the sauna????

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

I actually like going into both after training. It depends on what mood im in tho and how much my muscles r aching. If ive pulled a muscle or a tendon i sit in the sauna. Sometimes u need the wet heat and sometimes the dry heat.

Re: Steam Room vs hot room

Bath houses are ace but there’s problems sometimes in the sauna when you attract the wrong kind of attention, 30+ yr olds saying “why hello there pretty boy”, ewww :yukh:  no thanks grandad!! Makes you want to wear a niqab.

I’ve always wondered which one do u go in first? sauna or steam room?
