Staying Positive

Re: Staying Positive

how old are u ramsha...and how long you been married.....

trying for a years not bad , sometimes it takes even 2 years even for healthy couples to conceive.....dont worry inshallah all will be ok and rem its all up to allah.

have you tried ovulating sticks...sorry i keep blabbering on about them, but i found they worked not jsut for me, but it was recommended to all cusins...and friends....and i was chuffed it worked out for me too....please do try it.

on aother note, i do know an aunt who after 10 years had 3 kids....as in one after 10 years, then because she was relaxed, she was sooo relieved she had 1 kid that her and hubby didnt try so hard anymore and relaxed alot more, and god gave them 2 more....

so no stress, just remember these things are in the hands of god.

I'm 24....I've been married for 2 1/2 years. We started trying about a year and a half ago. We didn't see a doctor until we'd been trying for a year.

My issue is that I am not ovulating at all. I've been told I have PCOS but don't have any of the normal issues ie cycts or obesity. What I have been told is that my body is insuline resistent (not diabetic) so for three months I completely changed my diet to get the insulin in control, in the hopes that It would regulate my hormones....though it didn't work.

After that we started clomid and I have not ovulated yet. We'll try injections this month and hopefully we'll be blessed.....If not I will need to take a break, I can feel my body getting a little tired

Re: Staying Positive

you sound EXACTLY like me, in terms of diagnosis and symptoms. I hope the injectibles work out for you, like they did for me. If you want to talk more, feel free to PM me.

Thanks Sahar....I may have LOTs of questions in a day. I'm a little freaked out about the needles, my doctor's office will not give you the injections without classes so I think I'll be okay.... but I'm all jittery about it

Re: Staying Positive

^ I understand. I'm such a needle-phobe. But you'll do it, and you'll be so proud of yourself!

Re: Staying Positive

Ramsha- i can so relate to you! I wish you all the best and inshallah it will happen soon for you! Good luck!

Re: Staying Positive

Ramsha - that is the same position as me. I've been diagnosed with PCOS although don't actually have any cysts on my ovaries which is a tad confusing, I've been diagnosed because of the symptoms I share ie gain weight easily, irregular periods and also insulin resistance.

Have currently been put on a combination of metformin and clomid, really hope it does the trick.

I was on metformin for three months...let me know if you have any questions. Hopefully it'll work for you, and the side effects won't be bad...good luck

Re: Staying Positive

hey ramsha plz do tell me about ur injection experience beacuse if this month nothing happens next month i l be getting injection as well................... lil bit affraid..............all the best to you may God bless you

Re: Staying Positive

May ALLAH TALLAH bless u guys with healthy babies, Ameen!

Re: Staying Positive

Hey you :)

I personally have no experience of having babies but just felt I should add about my sister. She has poly-cystic ovaries and when she and her husband decided to start conceiving the doctors told her that she would find great difficulty in conceiving due to her problems.. With thanks God she had found out she was pregnant within months of them trying.

All I meant to say is having faith, just believing and keeping an open mind even when it's hard can work wonders. It's not over til it's over :)

Re: Staying Positive

Ramsha I will not tell you to realx and be calm. I can understand what you are going through. With your treatment keep praying. Keep your hope on God and definately everything will go right one day. Just keep praying and keep your eyes on God.
