perhaps they are too busy to sit and write an extended response.
as for me, I'm not a SAHM ... so you probably don't want to hear from me.
Re: stay at home moms of toddlers..
I am not a mom yet , but will give you a rough idea from what I have seen my friends do ..
Usually with infants, their routine seems quite tight, coz they try to catch some rest when the child is sleeping so that sorts the napping issue ..
For cooking, most of my SAHM friends dont bother cooking every day , they do only what they can manage .. like some who have two or more kids to handle find it tough to cook everyday .. so either they cook every alternative day or they cook two or more dishes together so they dont have to stand in the kitchen every day ..
They seem pretty relaxed on the cleaning front, most say they do the cleaning in chunks like clean the toilets and kitchen today , do a room or two tomorrow etc .. so workload is divided and becomes manageable..
most say that the routine revolves much around the kids routine .. they take priority over everything else .. so yeah breaking down tasks has helped them settle a routine without getting things affected too much ..
