On the same token, can a bowler complete his hat trick in the very first ball of the next match ?

Statsticans are not chariyaas that they will go for something which is not counted as a ‘record’ in the game of Cricket. You probably were thinking of some other game before running this query on statsguru :stuck_out_tongue:

^ Itna naraaz honay ki kiya baat hai, bhai.

Well done F&B. Equal credit for this glorious achievement goes to you and Mr Tendulkar. May both of you record/make many other records. Great job! :k:

Answer to first Question : Yes they can.

And who told you that this is not counted as record. Here you go..

and dont be jealous.

To the first answer. No they can’t :stuck_out_tongue: only in a test match they can complete hat trick in the very first delivery of the second innings. Lets wait and see what others say about it.

To the main topic: This can be a record only on an Indian website :hehe: and unfortunately this is the case.

Besides, I, myself a big fan of Dravid and Tendi. But we have to make sense when talk about our favourite players. There is no such thing…‘most run in conssecutive innings blah blah’. Cricket records are not considered in that way.

Ok, Mr,

Have a look at following few and tell me which one is not a record and why cricinfo is carrying it.

mere khayal se aapki achi khasi exercise hogai hai :hehe: is liye aapki baat maan li jaaye

chal yaar tu kehta hai tou ye bhi ik record hai.

Way to go Tendi :k: kaash Rahul aaj 2 overs aur ruk jaata tou ik aur record ban jaata. most double centuries by any cricketer (vegie/nonvegie). F&B will shed some light on this now.

BTW, what about my hat trick question ?

Hatrick can only be scored in the same match. It cannot be carried over two matches.

How is Hayden up there? I thought he was caught on 380.

Now they have reported it.
