Re: Static hair...argh!
Rub a tiny bit of any light oil (argan is good) or hair lotion between your palms and smooth it over your strands.
Re: Static hair...argh!
You can't really help it in the winter. All the heat from styling plus central heating is causing it.
Use conditioner to keep it moisturised. Avoid using the hair dryer when you can. But it will probably still be static.
A good trick is to buy some of those sheets you put in the dryer to make your clothes soft. You can buy some cheap supermarket branded ones. Smooth a sheet gently along your hair (it shouldn't really touch your hair very much otherwise the stuff will come off onto your hair) and it should eliminate the static. You can keep it in your handbag in a baggie.
Re: Static hair...argh!
don't use hairspray it only dries out your hair and adds too it. use a little leave in conditioner or biosilk silk therapy serum or garnier fructis shine serum is great at adding moisture to your hair. if you have moisture you won't have static issues.
also stoppit is right about the dryer sheets, i find myself keeping some in my car just incase. who wants static hair at the office? Also I need to rub it into my hair, i don't rub too much or else my hair will get greasy but if i don't rub enough and let it kinda run through my hair it doesn't do anything for me.
