Some key things to note are:
Yajuj & Majuj (Gog & Magog) are not individuals.
Dajjal will only be seen as an individual when his mission is complete. Before this, the concept of Dajjal will be viewed as a system, and a series of events.
History of the Holy Land (according to the Quran)...
It was gifted to the Jews, CONDITIONALLY. After the Jews took it, the land prospered. After it prospered, the Jews failed to hold on to their promise with Allah (swt). Allah (swt) destroyed the land (country, nation, etc) and banned the people (Jews) from the land, and said that** they would never return to claim the land again ever, UNTIL Yajuj & Majuj **have been released and have estabilished a world order.
Now you know that the Jews have returned, and they claim that Israel is their Holy Land.
Dajjal will bring the Jews back to Israel to claim the Holy Land.
That has happened as well.
He (dajjal) has to restore a state of Israel in the Holy Land, to convince the Jews that this IS the Holy Israel of David (Daud a.s.) & Solomon (Sulaymaan a.s.).
This has happened already as well.
Finally, he has to cause Israel to be the ruling stage of the world (i.e. superpower).
This has not happened yet, but I think (along with the Scholar) that this will happen very soon. How this will happen is that Israel will expand its territority and seize the most precious resource today in the world (on which the whole world's economy runs), along with the Suez Canal. Just take a look at the close proximity of the State of Israel to the oil-rich Gulf Nations, and also look at the way Israel has been behaving ever since it came into existence. Everything they do, goes unpunished. Today they may be at peace with their neighbours, but Israel is unpredictable, and this 'expansion' is most likely inevitable.

How exactly is Israel expanding?
It has given up the Sinai and Gaza and Souther Lebanon and ready to give up the Golan Heights for peace with Syria
The world's most precious commodity today maybe oil but the wars of the 21st Century are going to with Fresh Water and not Oil
The reason that some of the Israeli actions goes unpunishment has more to do with Arab stupidity than Israeli cunning.
Lastly, It is the Arab world which is unpredictable as they are the ones who attacked repeatedly either in 48 or 67 or 2006 starting these wars

Have to agree. Israel has shown NO interest in aquiring any of the land normally not considered their birthright.

merc old man, he is talking about the overall image isreal has. doesn't matter if they don't have much land, the fact is they are a superpower who have a huge impact on the world and it is a FACT that their actions go unpunished.

^Yah I agree..He stated that Israel has to become a superpower, and it was his opinion how it will become one, Expanding is one way...however its not necessary, I think its inevitable that Israel will become superpower sooner or later...they already are best friends with a superpower...and that superpower will love nothing else but having their best friend elevated to that position as well...ultimate goal being world domination.

An ummah of 1 1/2 billion is worried about a nation of 5 million Jews becoming a superpower? I don't know if that's because of paranoia, admiration, excuse-making, an attempt to validate scripture or justification to fear and hate the Jews, but it is ridiculous

I think you got that wrong. The ummah is not worried about them becoming super power but to remind themself that the time is getting closer..and…closer…and closer…that is the day of judgement.
