State Bank plans for new currency notes of Pakistan](Geo News: Latest News Breaking, Live Videos, World, Entertainment, Royal)

**** KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan has planed to replace the currency notes of all denomination in order to bring its quality to world level and address fake currency notes menace.

SBP sources told Geo TV that for this purpose the Central Bank is importing modern machinery. Sources said that Federal Cabinet had approved a plan for the improvement of Pakistani currency notes of all denomination following which several steps have been taken.

Sources said that new designs for currency notes, lowering the sizes and many other steps are underway including water mark.

If I am not wrong, it has already been started with issuance of new 20 pound note. Smaller in size and looks pretty resembled to Euro in shape.
