I have started fasting last Friday (15th October), since that was announced as the first day of Ramadan here in Austria. However Ramadan in Pakistan has started one day later (16th October).
As I am planning to spend Eid in Pakistan, Inshallah, the following question arises:
What should I do on the last day of Ramadan according to Pakistani ruling?
If I fast on that day, I would end up with a Ramadan that is one day longer than it actually is (whether it is 29 or 30 days). But if I don’t fast, I can’t celebrate Eid on that day either, because it won’t be Eid in Pakistan.
One more thing that comes into play is, that I will skip the Roza on 4th November, because that will be the day of my travel to Pakistan. Now the ruling is, that if you skip a Roza because of travel, you have to make up for it afterwards. But in my case I would still have fasted 29 or 30 days like everyone else, so do I still need to make up for that one skipped Roza?
well it is very common question but answer is pretty simple
Where ever you are, the maximum number of days for fasting are 30 !
if you have completed 30 day fasting then you are free of obligation of ramazan-ul-mubarik. After that it will be counted as Nafil
Now if you travel to some country where one or two days are left in ramazan, you can keep a Nafil roza (non obligatory fast) or you may not keep roaza its on your discretion.

So that means it's ok if I skip the Roza on 4th November (travel day) and fast through to the end of Ramadan in Pakistan. Right?

It is okey to skip roza(or roazay) while traveling, and do make up after Ramazan. Complete 30 days of Ramazan(or 29 as with locals). If your 30 days have completed and still locals are fasting, you may keep the nafal roza on that day and that can be the Qaza of any previous roza.
As for celebrating Eid, It will always be with locals where you currently are. And obviously you can't celebrate eid when others are fasting and vice versa
