I’m unable to do that, because when I hit the “return” button to start a new line or try to click with my clicker to start a new line, I cannot. In fact, I can’t do it in the box I’m typing in right now either.

I'm not sure I understood you properly. Is it the "backspace" key or the "enter" key that's not working for you?
What browser are you using, PCG?

Enter - happens with both explorer and google chrome

Okay. I haven't had this issues with either browser so I can't say exactly why it's happening. But if you switch to the compatibility mode on explorer, it might resolve the problem for you like it did for some others. Other than that, I've asked the technical team to look into this as soon as they can so that the problem can be resolved.

I think it's fixed. Was able to write a real journal entry this time.

As Huma mentioned, It’s a persistent issue that is pending a fix. The following thread may be related to the same issue. If the problem occurs again, please employ the same temporary fix as a workaround. It relates to ‘Enter’ key not working.
